Are we still here then?

It's scary stuff, this 'big bang' experiment which is going on in Switzerland this morning. I don't really understand any of it, nor do I really want to, but I'm surprised that the boffins behind all this nonsense were allowed to carry out such a ludicrous experiment. The lengths that people go to for a Nobel Prize!
