Retro Saturday: Shop Assistants

Back in 1986 - when many of you hadn't even been born - your humble blogger sustained a back injury which developed into a serious illness which resulted in me being confined to the sick bed for virtually the first half of that year, with nothing to do but listen to the radio and not much else. I don't remember 1986 as a vintage year for music - Pet Shop Boys and A-ha aside - but I do fondly remember the Shop Assistants from John Peel's show.
