"Shady Lady" - Ani Lorak.One of those songs this year which actually had a life beyond ESC for me, even though I didn't really appreciate it at the time. I can't really say why I like it, but it has that certain ooomph (!)about it and is rather dance-pop-tastic in its own way.
The 2008-50 will be back on Monday 24th (or more likely, Tuesday 25th) with more of my favourite songs of the year.

This has totally had a life beyond ESC for me too! The drama, the disco strings...love it. I always mentally do the little head flicks for that electro squiggle, too.
