Played chess on Wednesday night with faithful travelling companion. Now I am to chess what Kate Garraway is to ballroom dancing, but I didn't really have a chance against the evil chess genius that he is. Decided that he must be related to Dr Evil, as he sits in an evil-chess-genius way at the chess board plotting a million ways to stop my knights, pawns, rooks and bishops in their tracks.
