2010-50 - No.49: Now I owe you for the rest of my life

"Give It To Me" - Alexander Stenerud.

Norway's Melodi Grand Prix is getting more and more like Melodifestivalen every year, as they choose what they think would be a good ESC entry, rather than the best song....no offence to Didrik Tangent-Thingy (as he is affectionately known at EuropeCrazy HQ) but this would have been a better representative this year. Although being the contrary person I am, it's not my highest-rated MGP entry in this year's chart!

Alexander delivers the song with power, drama and professionalism, and don't you think that at times he has that same goosebumps-quality to his voice as Morten Harket? Must be a Norwegian thing!!

I'd love to see him back at MGP again someday. Although after 3 attempts ("Always Always" and "Find My Girl" being his other highly underrated entries) he's probably thinking "turn around, walk away...it's over, it's over" :( So in the meantime enjoy his MGP performance of the song at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FaL1Ynad2P4

Aww,love this song. It'll definitely be in my top 50 if I ever get round to doing one this year.Lots of great songs in MGP this year but I think this was the best on account of the double key change and the funny abrupt ending :)

You need to do a chart this year as I loved your old countdown!
